Restoration Workshop Study Day

The Persian Carpet Studio Restortion Workshops

We hope to offer you a wonderful opportunity to learn more about rugs and carpets, the ancient art of carpet making and the amazing history of the people who weave them. This will include anecdotes and images from Sara Barber’s trips to meet the nomads of south west Iran.

See behind the scenes of our renowned restoration and conservation workshops and gain an insight into the work we have carried out on various carpets from historic houses to private collections.

The day is free but we hope you will make a charitable contribution in aid of St Nicholas Hospice (suggested £10 per head).

Suffolk Show

For the fourth year running we will be exhibiting in the luxurious Lifestyle Pavilion. On display will be a selection of rugs, runners and interior accessories. Please come along to meet us and if you need advice on choosing styles, sizes and colours you can always make an appointment at the show for one of our consultants to visit you at home (free of charge) where they can present our extensive portfolio and bring with them a selection of rugs for you to try.

Our restoration team will also be attending, so if you have any rugs you would like cleaning or repaired please bring them to our stand and we will be delighted to give you an estimate for costs.

Lectures & Study Days

We aim to provide an informative and educational service to our customers and appreciate the value of the exchange of information throughout the profession. We hold lectures and study days for private individuals and other professionals, and demonstrate our work at fairs and exhibitions nationally.
